The McCormick School of Engineering provides a detailed data submission to the American Society for Engineering Education annually. This data allows us to monitor our efforts compared with peer schools, both public and private.

Highlights from the ASEE Fall 2019 Survey:

  • McCormick ranks 1st for female PhD students among the US News and World Report Top 25 graduate engineering programs
  • McCormick ranks 5th for underrepresented PhD students (as a proportion of domestic students) among the US News and World Report Top 25 graduate engineering programs
  • McCormick ranks 5th for female MS students among the US News and World Report Top 25 graduate engineering programs
  • McCormick ranks 6th for underrepresented undergraduate students among the US News and World Report Top 25 undergraduate engineering programs

  • 963 total enrollment
  • 466 international students
  • 96 underrepresented minority students
  • 327 women

Master of Science Students:

  • 1235 total enrollment
  • 753 international students
  • 75 underrepresented minority students
  • 448 women

Bachelor of Science Students:

  • 1880 total enrollment
  • 285 international students
  • 428 underrepresented minority students
  • 619 female students
